Current Information:Born-Brixton Boulogne Eastern Cemetery, France Rifleman Barber died of wounds on this day but as yet we have no further information regarding his death. He was buried at Boulogne in France so we can presume that he was wounded at an earlier date. 3rd King's Royal Rifle Corps were part of 80 Brigade, 27th Division which, during April and May 1915 was engaged in the desperate struggle in the north-east sector of the Ypres salient, which became known as Second Ypres. |
